Quink "A filipino Invention"

Francisco Quisumbing, a chemist invented an indelible ink. He graduated from the University of Chicago under the american pensionado program.

It cleans the pen as it writes. The indelible ink dries quickly on paper but the liquid remains inside the pen. He called it Quink, short for Quisumbings Ink. He established his Quisumbing Ink Products, Co. in 1923 and supplied the government with his ink.

Parker Co. bought the rights to the ink with Dr. Quisumbing's  stipulation that the trademark will be remained.
